On May 6, US President Donald Trump announced the suspension of the Freedom Project mission in the Strait of Hormuz to find out whether the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran would be able to sign an agreement.
"The Freedom project (passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz) will be suspended for a short period of time to find out whether it will be possible to complete and sign the agreement [with Iran]," he wrote on the Truth Social network.
