Nizhny Novgorod Chkalov Airport accepts flights en route to Moscow airports. This was reported on May 5 in the press service of aerogavani.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that due to flight restrictions in the capital, Chkalov Airport was used as the main alternate airport of the Moscow air hub.

"A total of 15 flights were accepted today, airline representatives worked with passengers on all flights," the press service said in a Telegram channel.

It is specified that after the lifting of restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft in Moscow's airspace, all flights accepted by Chkalov Airport went to their destination airports.

Temporary restrictions at Sheremetyevo Airport were introduced earlier in the day, and it was also reported that temporary restrictions had been imposed on flights to Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky. Later, restrictions at all airports were lifted.

On May 5, the Aeroflot press service announced the postponement of flights to Sheremetyevo and the cancellation of some flights due to time constraints at the airport. It was noted that some of the flights arriving at Sheremetyevo were redirected to alternate airfields.
