The Ministry of Transport proposed to increase free parking spaces for large families

The Russian Ministry of Transport has taken the initiative to provide free parking for two cars of a large family. This was announced on May 6 by the press service of the Ministry.

"We support the proposal to establish free parking for two vehicles registered in accordance with the established procedure for parents in a large family, if four or more children are raised in such a family," RIA Novosti quoted the Ministry of Transport as saying.

It is noted that currently the right to free parking is provided for one car in a large family, however, it is planned to make changes to the guidelines for parking space management in Russian cities by June 30 this year. The Ministry added that these recommendations were passed on to regional authorities, which determine the right to benefits for large families.

The Ministry of Labor called on them to lift restrictions on obtaining preferential status for large families.

On April 23, Sergei Mironov, chairman of the Fair Russia party, proposed to reset the mortgage rate for young large families. He noted that Fair Russia opposes any rate increase. In his opinion, the family mortgage rate should vary depending on the number of children in the family: 6% for families with one child, 4% for families with two children, 2% for families with three.
