Two forest fires were extinguished in the Murmansk region

Two forest fires were extinguished in the Murmansk region in early May. Local residents were reminded of the criminal liability for arson of the forest.

The first fire was registered in Kovdozersk forestry on May 1. The gorenje was completely eliminated by the morning of May 2. The fire area was 7.41 hectares. This is reported by the Bi-port news agency.

In the Zasheykovsky forestry, the fire moved to the forest from agricultural land. The gorenje area was 0.03 hectares.

In Tuva, the area of forest fires exceeded 1.3 thousand hectares. The most difficult situation was noted in the Sudholsky district.
