Output of electrical equipment in Moscow increased by 9.4% in January – February

In Moscow, in the first two months of 2026, the production of electrical equipment increased by 9.4% compared to the same period last year. This was announced on Tuesday, May 5, by the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the capital.

Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry, noted that the city continues to support the development of high-tech industries: more than 130 electrical equipment manufacturing enterprises are currently operating in Moscow, which have increased production, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

The ministry stressed that enterprises receive comprehensive support, from tax incentives to financial mechanisms and sales guarantees. The capital produces a wide range of products, from household goods to industrial equipment, including charging stations for electric vehicles and cable products.

Anatoly Garbuzov, head of the department, added that cable products are in demand in various fields, from medicine to transport. According to him, about 20 companies operate in this segment, and the volume of production in January–February 2026 increased 2.3 times compared to last year. kp.ru .
