Aeroflot postponed and cancelled some flights due to airport restrictions

Aeroflot is rescheduling flights to Sheremetyevo, as well as canceling some flights due to time constraints at the airport. This was announced on May 5 by the company's press service.

"Due to the May 5 temporary restrictions on departure and arrival of aircraft at Sheremetyevo Airport <...>, Aeroflot is forced to adjust its schedule by postponing departure times, as well as canceling some flights," the press service wrote on the Telegram channel.

It is noted that some of the flights staying at Sheremetyevo were redirected to alternate airfields. Passengers were advised to check the flight status on the online scoreboard before leaving for the airport, so as not to increase the waiting time.

Temporary restrictions at Sheremetyevo Airport were introduced earlier in the day. Later, on the evening of May 5, the restrictive measures were lifted.
