The average price of a new Chinese-made car in Russia in April for the first time exceeded 4 million rubles, an increase of 2.7% over the month. At the same time, the average cost of a locally produced car (including Lada, Evolute, Belgee, Aurus, Tenet and others) remained at 2.04 million rubles. The leaders in reducing the average cost were Bryansk (-12%; 3.33 million rubles) and Voronezh (-10%; 2.45 million rubles) regions, as well as Krasnodar Krai (-8%; 2.57 million rubles). In some regions, the average cost of a new car has increased over the past month. In the Vologda region, the increase was 6.6% to 2.95 million rubles, in the Tula region, the price increased to 2.18 million rubles, which is 5% more than in March.

By the end of April, the three models officially presented on the Russian market, whose average cost decreased the most compared to the previous month, included Haval H3 (-5.5%; 2.99 million rubles), Jaecoo J6 (-4%; 2.49 million rubles) and Haval Jolion (-3.3%; 2.55 million rubles). Lada Granta, Lada Iskra and Haval Jolion aroused the greatest interest among users in the middle of spring.

Analysts also recorded an increase in the number of offers from local brands by 18% since the beginning of the year and by 5% compared to March. At the same time, the supply from Chinese brands increased by only 1% over the month, it is still below the January level.
