There are 11 victims of the drone attack in Cheboksary hospitals, three of them are in serious condition. This was announced on May 5 by Alexey Kuznetsov, Assistant Minister of Health of the Russian Federation.
"11 victims are undergoing inpatient treatment in Cheboksary hospitals. <...> All victims are receiving all necessary medical care in full," Interfax quoted him as saying.
Kuznetsov said that three of the victims are in serious condition. Telemedicine consultations with specialists from federal medical centers were organized for their treatment.
On the same day, the number of victims of the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Cheboksary increased to 34 people. In addition, the ministry noted that two people also died as a result of the incident. In connection with the incident, the Minister of Education of Chuvashia Dmitry Zakharov said that schools and technical schools of the republic have been transferred to distance learning.
Subsequently, Trofimov said that Cheboksary authorities had deployed a temporary accommodation center and an operational headquarters after the drone strikes. Investigators have opened a criminal case on a terrorist act. The Prime Minister of the region, Sergei Artamonov, allowed the option of declaring a state of emergency throughout the republic.
