MASH services will be introduced in five more regions of Russia
Digital services and subsystems of the Moscow Electronic School (MES) will be introduced in five more regions of Russia. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his channel in the Maks messenger.
"On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, Moscow is actively sharing its best practices in the field of information technology," Sobyanin wrote.
From the first quarter of the new academic year, the platform will be launched in schools in Bashkortostan, Karelia, Vologda, Murmansk and Tver regions. The corresponding agreement was signed by the Mayor of Moscow, Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov and Deputy Head of the Ministry of Finance Oleg Kachanov. In the future, the platform is planned to be extended to secondary vocational education institutions in these regions.
Moscow will provide the regions with access to an electronic journal and diary, a library of educational materials and other MES facilities, Sobyanin said. In addition, the capital undertakes technical support, methodological assistance and teacher training to work with the system.
According to the decision of the Russian government, since 2022, MASH services have been the basis of regional digital educational platforms. In addition to Moscow, the system operates in Tatarstan, Dagestan, Kaluga, Moscow and Tyumen regions, as well as in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. After connecting new regions, by the end of 2026, more than a quarter of Russian schoolchildren will use the MASH facilities.
