The number of drones shot down on approach to Moscow has reached 13

The mayor of Moscow announced that 13 drones flying towards the capital had already been destroyed.

The air defense system of the Ministry of Defense destroyed three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) flying to Moscow. This was announced on May 5 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The Defense Ministry's air defense system destroyed three drones," Sobyanin wrote on the channel on the Maks platform.

It is noted that emergency services specialists are working at the crash site.

Since the beginning of the day on May 5, the air defense forces have been shooting down drones on approach to Moscow. The first drone was hit at 00:49, about 40 minutes later — the second, and in the early morning, at 5:49, the third. Later, at 8:00 a.m., Sobyanin reported the defeat of three more UAVs, then their total number increased to six since the beginning of the day. The mayor of the capital later announced that four more drones had been attacked.
