Rapper Guf shared his emotions after the verdict was overturned
Rapper Guf (real name — Alexey Dolmatov) is pleased with the cancellation of the verdict against him. He shared his emotions after the court's decision on May 5 with Izvestia.
"I don't want to provide you with this kind of work anymore. Let's meet on good occasions," Guf told the correspondent.
He noted that he currently has a lot of things to do in Moscow and is not planning to go abroad in the near future.
Earlier that day, the Moscow Regional court granted Gufa's appeal in the case of arbitrariness. The victim, who was beaten by Guf along with another defendant Gevorg Sarukhanyan, asked to stop the criminal prosecution, as the parties reconciled.
The incident involving Dolmatov occurred on October 23, 2024, in the premises of a sauna and wellness complex in Naro-Fominsk, Moscow region. The musician and Sarukhanyan quarreled with a man, Mikhail M. They stole his phone. In addition, Sarukhanyan twisted the victim, and the rapper threatened him and punched the man in the face several times. Both were charged with robbery with violence, but the article was later reclassified as "Arbitrariness."
On February 26, the Naro-Fominsk City Court of the Moscow region found Gufa guilty and imposed a one-year suspended sentence. A similar sentence was handed down to Sarukhanyan. Prior to that, the prosecutor had requested two years of probation for them.
