ICI RAS reported a G2-level magnetic storm

A magnetic storm that reached the G2 level occurred on Earth on Tuesday night. This was reported on May 5 at the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the IKI RAS and the ISSF SB RAS.

"On the night of May 4-5, against the background of the green Street, which was expected all the May holidays, quite noticeable magnetic storms began, which peaked at about midnight and reached the G2 level (medium storms)," the laboratory said in a message on its Telegram channel.
