It is specified that the personal presence of the Russian leader at the international meeting will mean that Moscow has managed to retain its place in key global structures.

According to the author of the material, the G20 format is noticeably different from the G7. This gives Moscow the opportunity to appeal to countries, many of which have refused to support the policy of sanctions.
