Due to time constraints in the operation of the mobile Internet from May 5 to May 9, you should save everything you need offline in advance, as well as withdraw money from your card. This was announced on May 5 by Artem Kashakov, design Director of the ST IT group of companies, TechNet market expert.

"First of all, it makes sense to provide offline access to all possible things: tickets for transport, theaters or museums should be saved as a PDF on your phone, and perhaps even printed. The same applies to bookings and addresses," the expert shared in an interview with RIA Novosti.

He stressed that you should download offline navigation, for example, in the Yandex Maps or 2GIS applications and make hard copies of important documents: passports, IDs and insurance. In addition, the expert advised withdrawing and carrying cash in advance, as there may be problems with the operation of mobile terminals and non-cash payment for purchases.

Kashakov also recommended replenishing your mobile account in advance and arranging calls and messages with your family, as messengers and services operating via the mobile Internet may stop working.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on April 23 that Internet disruptions in major cities are related to preventing terrorist threats, and this work is a priority. He stressed that widespread and early informing of people about the limitations of the Internet can damage the operational work of the special services, since criminals, receiving such information, can adjust their plans.
