On May 4, US President Donald Trump said that Ukraine retains the ability to conduct military operations thanks to American weapons that Washington sells to NATO countries.
"We are selling it (weapons. — Ed.) NATO, and they are already distributing," he said in an interview with Salem News.
The American leader noted that regardless of the assessment of the quality of equipment, Kiev still has the opportunity to continue the conflict.
