On May 4, US President Donald Trump admitted that Ukraine continues to lose territories, and the transfer of $350 billion worth of weapons to Kiev under the administration of former American leader Joe Biden was "ridiculous."

"They are losing territories," the head of the White House said in an interview with Salem News.

Speaking about the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, the US president called him a "cunning man." At the same time, Trump stressed that Washington stands for a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.

The American leader also said that most of the Iranian oil seized in the Indian Ocean is heading to the United States.

In addition, according to him, it may take Washington two to three weeks to end the war with Tehran, while time "is not a problem." Separately, the head of the White House spoke about enriched uranium located in Iran. According to him, it may already be unusable, but Washington still demands its transfer.

Trump also announced the possibility of sending the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln to the shores of Cuba.

"Perhaps on the way back from Iran, when we are done with this (armed conflict. — Ed.), we will put the aircraft carrier "Abraham Lincoln" in a couple of hundred yards (180 m. — Ed.) from the coast (Cuba. — Ed.) and we will watch how they want to do something," Trump said.

In conclusion, the President of the United States said that in the event of a conflict between Washington and Beijing, support from NATO is unlikely to come.

On May 3, Trump said that the United States had not accepted Iran's proposals to end the conflict in three stages. According to the head of the White House, this proposal of the Islamic Republic turned out to be "unacceptable" for him.

On the same day, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi noted that the United States had sent proposals to Iran through Pakistan to resolve the conflict. However, he clarified that the initiative does not concern the Iranian nuclear program.
