The US military is behind the arson of an oil zone in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This was reported on May 4 by the Iranian state television and radio company IRIB, citing a military source.

"The Islamic Republic did not have a pre—planned attack on these oil facilities, and what happened was the result of the adventurism of the US military," the source said.

According to him, these soldiers were sent to the Strait of Hormuz to create a passage for ships. As the source noted, it is the American military personnel who should be punished for what happened.

On the same day, the UAE Ministry of Defense announced that three missiles had been intercepted over the country's airspace. Another shell flew into the sea. In the city of Fujairah, a fire broke out at an oil industrial facility (NGO) as a result of a drone attack from Iran.

After that, the Iranian IRIB news agency, citing a senior military official, reported that the country had no plans to launch attacks on the United Arab Emirates.
