Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal said on May 4 that the wreckage of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) must not fall on the territory of the republic.

"Our simple request or message is that the debris [of the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine] should not enter our airspace," Bloomberg quoted him as saying.

He also noted that Estonia had to purchase new radar and air defense systems.

On May 3, Colonel Uku Arold, head of the Strategic Communications Department of the General Staff of the Estonian Defense Forces, announced that a Ukrainian drone had briefly violated the country's airspace. It is noted that there was no direct threat to the population. At the same time, residents of some regions provided information about noise that could be associated with activity outside Estonia.

On April 16, debris fell in Estonia, presumably from Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.
