There is a Russian citizen on the cruise ship with an outbreak of hantavirus M/V Hondius

There is a Russian citizen among the crew members of the cruise ship M/V Hondius, on which the hantavirus outbreak occurred. This was announced on May 4 by Oceanwide Expeditions, the company that owns the ship.

According to her, the ship is currently off the coast of Cape Verde in the Atlantic Ocean. A total of 149 people from 23 countries are on board the ship.

It is noted that one passenger from Germany has been confirmed to have hantavirus. Two more crew members need medical attention, but the virus has not been confirmed.
