By May 9th, a special program will be held at the Island of Dreams.

For Victory Day, the Island of Dreams cultural and entertainment cluster has prepared a special program filled with meanings important to every family.

The event "Common Feat — Common Victory" is dedicated to the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and tells about the main thing - about the unity of people who helped overcome one of the most difficult trials in history. The program focuses on the memory of courage, perseverance and mutual support that united people of different nationalities in an effort to protect their country. This is a story about a feat that remains alive today, passed down from generation to generation.

One of the key parts of the program will be an exhibition of military equipment, prepared with the participation of the Vadim Zadorozhny Museum of Technology. Guests will be able to see authentic samples that have become symbols of their time: the legendary 1941 T-34 tank, the BA-10 armored car, the ZIS-2 anti-tank cannon, GAZ-AA and GAZ-415 cars, as well as the 122-mm M-30 howitzer.

A special place in the program will be occupied by the photo exhibition "Simonov. The original", dedicated to writers and poets-veterans. The project is dedicated to the 110th anniversary of Konstantin Simonov's birth and combines materials from his family archive, as well as the work of military photojournalist Evgeny Khaldei. The exhibition tells about people who were not only participants in the events, but also their chroniclers — those who found words even in the most difficult conditions, preserving the living truth of time.

This year, the Island of Dreams is once again becoming the main venue for Victory Day celebrations in the Southern Administrative District, combining cultural and educational formats in an open urban space. The event is supported by the Moscow Southern Administrative District Prefecture and the Southern Administrative District Administrative Center.

This day is about taking a careful and respectful look at the past. About the memory that is important to preserve, and about the meanings that continue to unite people today.
