Putin awarded Anna Leonidova the title of Honored Artist of Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Anna Leonidova, an actress at the Sovremennik Theater in Moscow, the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. The relevant decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on May 4.

"To award the honorary title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation to Anna Borisovna Leonidova," the document says.

This award is awarded for contribution to the development of Russian culture and art.

On April 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded composer Maxim Dunaevsky the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, IV degree. Oleg Menshikov, artistic director of the Ermolova Theater, was also awarded the Order of Merit in Culture and Art.
