There are no reasons to restore emergency electricity supplies to Ukraine. This was stated by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico at the European Political Community (ENP) summit in Yerevan on May 4.

"At the moment, I see no reason to resume the supply of this type of electricity," said Fico, the recording is available on the YouTube channel of his SMER party.

He also stressed that Slovakia would no longer participate in providing military loans to Ukraine. In addition, the Prime Minister refused to supply weapons to Kiev for free.

On March 4, the Slovak government terminated the agreement with Ukraine, which provided for emergency electricity supplies. According to the document, the company used to provide electricity to Ukraine during emergency shutdowns.

On February 23, Fico announced that Bratislava would stop providing emergency electricity supplies to Ukraine in case of appropriate requests.
