A court in the United States will consider a lawsuit in the case of harm to youth by Meta

In the US state of New Mexico, on May 4, a trial will be held against Meta (the company's activities are recognized as extremist and banned in Russia), related to possible harm to the mental health of young users. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on May 2.

The prosecutor's office intends to achieve multibillion-dollar compensation, as well as changes in the operation of the services, including increased age verification of users and the adjustment of recommendation algorithms.
