In Lipetsk, a man injured by a falling metal beam with traffic lights was put into a medically induced coma. His condition is assessed by doctors as extremely serious. He was hooked up to a ventilator.

GOROD48 writes that the 76-year-old victim was transported from the intensive care unit of the 4th municipal hospital to the intensive care unit of the regional hospital.

The incident occurred on April 28. A beam with traffic lights collapsed on a pensioner and his 74-year-old wife at a pedestrian crossing on Vodopyanova Street. The beam fell under the gusts of wind.

The elderly man has a fracture of the scapula, spinous processes of the cervical vertebrae, thoracic vertebrae, broken ribs on both sides and a small pneumothorax. His wife has fractures of her leg and ribs.
