About 60 thousand guests came to the opening of the season in parks near Moscow

The regional event "Opening of the Warm Season" was held in 90 parks of the Moscow region. It was visited by almost 60 thousand people.

The online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, citing the press service of the regional Ministry of Culture and Tourism, writes that the event took place from 1 to 3 May. Open-air concerts were organized, park laboratories and public gardens were opened.

A march "Peace! Labor! May!", the House of the Intelligent Owl was opened. And in the Herringbone Park in Domodedovo, they organized a fashion show "Paper Costumes", as well as an open-air performance. In the park of the Krivyakino estate, one could visit the Cossack culture sector and the apothecary's garden.

According to the ministry, there are 219 parks in the region. In 2025, about 93 million people visited them. The agency expects this figure to approach 105 million this year.

In mid-April, it was reported that more than 1.7 million people visited parks in the Moscow Region in just one week. Such statistics were provided by the Ministry of Landscaping of the region. The ministry stressed that the interest of local residents and tourists in organized recreation areas is growing. The peak attendance at the parks occurred on Sunday, April 12. About 250,000 people visited the recreation areas during the celebration of Easter and Cosmonautics Day.
