Two civilians in the Kherson region were killed and 11 others were injured as a result of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the first May holidays. This was announced on May 4 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

"Kiev terrorists killed two civilians over the holiday weekend, and 11 people were injured," Saldo wrote on his Maks messenger channel.

According to him, a man born in 1961 was killed in the shelling of a residential area in Alyoshki. In Velikiye Kopany, a UAV strike on a car led to the death of a man born in 1990. In Tavriysk, an elderly woman born in 1943 was wounded during shelling. A girl born in 2009 was injured in Natalovka.

The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, reported on May 3 that two civilians were killed and four more injured as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack in the DPR. According to Pushilin, a married couple, a woman born in 1957 and a man born in 1954, were killed in the Kalininsky district of Gorlovka as a result of an attack by an airborne UAV. At the same time, a man born in 1969 was injured during the same attacks.
