- Khrushchev's great-granddaughter did not achieve the removal of the status of a foreign agent in court
The Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow refused to exclude Nikita Khrushchev's great-granddaughter Nina, who was recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation, from this register, rejecting her lawsuit against the Ministry of Justice. This was reported on May 4 by a correspondent of Izvestia.
Nikita Khrushchev's great-granddaughter Nina was added to the list of foreign agents on March 13. Along with Khrushcheva, the list includes publicist Vadim Shtepa, journalist Stepan Reznik and economist Ekaterina Zhuravskaya.
It was reported that she disseminated false information about the actions taken by the Russian authorities, opposed the conduct of her own and participated in the creation of materials by other foreign agents. In addition, according to the materials presented in court, Khrushchev carried out political activities and was under foreign influence.
Journalist of the Dozhd TV channel (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia) Vera Krichevskaya was included in the register of foreign agents. In addition to Krichevskaya, blogger Maxim Aliyev, Alexander Ivanov and the online resource "Republic" were added to the list of foreign agents.
