An American beekeeper expressed his opinion about the danger of Trump's bees
Bees on the territory of the White House do not pose any danger if the hive has fences and is installed far from the entrances. This was announced on May 4 by beekeeping expert and author of books on the subject, Michael Bush.
"No, at least not if (the hive. — Ed.) is not installed right at the entrance," Bush said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
As the agency's interlocutor noted, special protection measures are usually provided in places where bees live side by side with humans.
"They usually use some kind of fence to lift bees into the air. Having risen above people's heads, they stay above until they reach their destination," Bush explained, talking about the safety of the hive in the White House.
The expert added that he had placed hives about a meter from the entrance more than once and had not encountered any problems. However, he stressed that he did not recommend doing this to everyone: if bees became aggressive, he would prefer to keep them away, but he had not had such cases.
On April 28, US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania showed King Charles III of Great Britain and his wife a new beehive in the shape of the White House. The footage was published by the American leader's photopool.
