The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the buildup of NATO's combat potential in the Kaliningrad region

NATO is rapidly strengthening its combat capabilities near the Kaliningrad region. This was announced on May 4 by the Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Artyom Bulatov.

"There is an accelerated build-up of the North Atlantic Alliance's combat and infrastructural capabilities in the areas adjacent to the Kaliningrad Region. Under the pretext of ensuring the security of critical infrastructure in the Baltic Sea, the NATO Baltic Sentry Operation was launched in January 2025, the diplomat told RIA Novosti.
