Changes in the work of territorial recruitment centers (TCCs, the equivalent of military enlistment offices) and deferrals for students in Ukraine may indicate that Kiev is preparing for a new tightening of forced mobilization in the country. This was reported on May 3 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Another intensification of mobilization is expected in Ukraine. Just over the past day, it was announced that the shopping centers will go to enterprises where there are "armor" and mobilize people. In addition, the Ministry of Defense (Ministry of Defense. - Ed.) of Ukraine will review deferrals for students in order to free up mobilization resources," the source told TASS.

It is noted that the staff of the shopping center will check the documents of men near embassies and consulates, where people come to receive services, and raids on gyms are also expected.

On May 2, the head of the Anti-Corruption council at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Yuriy Gudymenko, said that representatives of the Shopping Center in Ukraine would begin inspections of gyms and begin organizing mobilization events there. Previously, the Shopping center had already conducted raids in fitness clubs, but later such checks stopped. There were suggestions on social media that gym owners might have bought off to keep customers.

On April 24, the Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ) reported that employees of the Shopping mall had abducted a priest of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) in Odessa. It was clarified that the abducted man turned out to be Archimandrite Rufinus, who is a resident of the Holy Dormition Odessa Monastery.
