The circumstances of the ingestion of a prohibited substance into the body of a Zabolotny were clarified.

The reason for the ingestion of a banned substance into the body of Spartak forward Anton Zabolotny was confusion with medications at training camps in Turkey. This was reported on May 3 by journalist Ivan Karpov.

As noted, at the winter training camp in Turkey, along with the permitted medications, the athlete purchased almost identical drugs containing a prohibited substance.

"However, at the winter training camp in Turkey, along with several packs of the right drugs, someone close to him bought another pair of almost the same ones, but conditionally labeled "plus" (the usual ones were not enough). Visually, the packages look almost identical, but there are prohibited substances in the composition of the "plus"," the journalist wrote in his Telegram channel.
