Iran has warned about the destruction of US ships due to the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran is capable of "sending American troops and ships to the cemetery" because of the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. This was announced on May 3 by Mohsen Rezai, a senior military adviser to the Supreme leader of Iran and former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

"Our ability to resist pirates is no less than our ability to sink warships. Get ready for your aircraft carriers and troops to end up in the cemetery," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
