A plane crash occurred in the United States, as a result of which the pickleball team was killed. This was announced by the Amarillo Pickleball Club on the Facebook social network (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).

"There were five people on board: four team players and a pilot. Everyone died," the club said in a statement.

According to the source, the athletes were heading from the city of Amarillo to New Braunfels, where the tournament was to be held. It was previously established that the aircraft had technical problems during the flight.

As specified, before the crash, the aircraft performed non-standard maneuvers, after which it disappeared from radar. In connection with the incident, the competitions were canceled, notes "Газета.ги ".
