An angry elephant killed a man in a temple in India

In the Indian state of Kerala, an elephant that was on the territory of a temple got out of control and killed a man. This is reported by the local TV channel News 18.

"The elephant attacked parked cars, overturned the car several times and seriously damaged motorcycles parked nearby," the publication says.

The incident occurred in the village of Kidangur. It is specified that the truck driver was killed as a result, the elephant driver was seriously injured.

Specialists from the Forest Department and staff from elephant control services were involved to stabilize the situation.

As specified, it took about two hours to neutralize the animal. The elephant was tranquilized, but after that he increased his aggression for a while and damaged another car.
