In Lithuania, due to the derailment of a freight train in the Kaunas region, railway communication with Kaliningrad was temporarily stopped. This was announced on May 3 by the Federal Passenger Company (FPC).

"Due to the incident, a number of trains traveling through the territory of the Lithuanian and Belarusian railways are delayed. The maximum delay time is eight hours," the message on the Maks messenger says.
