The Jordanian Air Force attacked targets in Syria
The Jordanian Air Force has hit warehouses where weapons and drugs were stored near the Syrian-Jordanian border. This was reported by the Petra news agency on May 3.
"We have hit the illegal arms and drug trafficking sites on the northern border of the kingdom. The operation was aimed at production facilities, workshops and warehouses from where traffickers transport weapons and drugs to the territory of Jordan," RIA Novosti quotes the text of the article.
It is noted that the purpose of the operation was to prevent drugs and weapons from entering Jordan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar announced on April 14 that the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jasim Al-Thani, during a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of Jordan, Dr. Ayman Al-Safadi, noted the need to maintain existing intensive contacts between the countries of the Middle East in order to the success of mediation efforts in the negotiations between the United States and Iran. Al-Thani also stressed the need to maintain open sea corridors, ensure freedom of navigation and refrain from using them as instruments of pressure or bargaining.
