During the day, 17 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down over the territory of the Kaluga Region. This was announced on May 2 by the governor of the region Vladislav Shapsha.

"Today, during the day, the air defense forces destroyed 17 UAVs over the territories of Baryatinsky, Zhizdrinsky, Zhukovsky, Kozelsky, Lyudinovsky, Maloyaroslavetsky and Sukhinichi municipal districts," the publication says in the Maks messenger.

There is no information about damage or casualties. Operational groups are working on the ground.
