Restrictions on aircraft take-off and landing have been introduced at Gelendzhik and Sochi airports. This was reported on May 2 in the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
"Gelendzhik and Sochi airports. Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the reception and release of aircraft," the press service wrote on the Telegram channel.
According to the report, Gelendzhik received additional restrictions, as previously the airport could accept flights from 8:30 to 20:00 Moscow time. It is noted that these restrictive measures are necessary to ensure the safety of flights.
On the same day, temporary restrictions on the admission and release of aircraft were introduced at the airports of Nizhny Novgorod and Penza. Rosaviatsia also explained at the time that these measures were necessary to ensure the safety of passengers.
