The Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Denis Pasler, instructed to provide legal support to the man detained after the incident at the May Day rally in Yekaterinburg. He announced this in his channel in the messenger "Max".

"I instructed him to provide the man with the necessary legal support," Pasler wrote.

According to the head of the region, the incident is related to the human factor: a resident of the Orenburg region tried to approach the governor during the event, ignoring the increased security measures, and behaved emotionally, which attracted the attention of security guards.

The fact that the man tried to attack Pasler became known on May 1. As the press service of the head of the region told Izvestia, the attacker was handed over to law enforcement agencies to clarify the circumstances. No one was injured.

On May 2, the court arrested a man who tried to break through to Pasler. According to the court, the man reacted to the actions of the guards with obscenities, after which a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up against him.
