New People held a charity zoofest in all federal districts
The New People Party, together with the Ecosphere Foundation, held the All-Russian charity zoo "Good People" in all federal districts. This was reported on May 2 in the press service of the party.
The central venue was the Moscow region, where the clean-up day was opened by party leader Alexei Nechaev. The volunteers helped prepare the shelters for the summer season: they cleaned the territories, put the aviaries in order, and provided support in landscaping.
A charity zone was operating: food, medicines and care products were provided to shelters. Last year alone, thanks to such actions, the party handed over more than 100 tons of aid to shelters.
Nechaev noted that there is a lot of work in shelters after the winter: it is necessary to clean, clean, and build new enclosures. Animal shelters in Russia are constantly on the verge of existence, with volunteers and staff working to the limit.
"Today, the New People party, together with the environmental foundation, is holding a large campaign throughout Russia in various federal districts to help shelters," he said.
The ED announced a new initiative — the introduction of special status and benefits for shelter staff and volunteers, including additional days off. It is noted that the "New People" systematically help animals: more than 600 tons of feed have been transferred, more than 300 clean-up days have been organized, 250 "boxes of goods" have been installed in 60 regions.
On April 15, veterinarians of the State Veterinary Service compiled a guide on arranging a happy life for a pet. Experts recommended keeping scales in the kitchen for precise control of food portions, as well as two bowls for water and food. Special brushes should be provided for hair care.
