Putin signed a law on an experiment on the sale of medicines in mobile pharmacies
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law on conducting an experiment with the sale of medicines in mobile pharmacies. The relevant document was published on May 2 on the official Internet portal of legal information.
The experiment will run for three years from June 1, 2026 to June 1, 2029. As part of it, specially equipped mobile pharmacies will visit remote settlements where there are no stationary pharmacies.
It is noted that the financing of the experiment will fall on interested pharmacy organizations and will not require additional funding from the state. In addition, mobile pharmacies will be considered full-fledged divisions of these organizations.
Russia has officially approved the launch of an experiment on the introduction of mobile pharmacies. As Kirill Solodkov, a correspondent for Izvestia, explained, a special pharmacy van will be equipped with a separate entrance for the pharmacist, a private bathroom, a shelving system and refrigeration equipment. According to the idea of the authors of the bill, one car will provide medicines to about 50 settlements.
