Businessman Kuzmin, who beat model Tartanova, died.

Businessman Dmitry Kuzmin, who had previously beaten his former lover, model Angelica Tartanova, died at the end of April. His lawyer Temur Fidarov informed Izvestia about this on May 2.

According to him, the man suffered from heart disease and underwent two surgeries. Fidarov noted that after the incident Kuzmin was experiencing strong emotions.

He also added that Tartanova and her representatives have not yet been contacted about further payments in favor of the victim.

The beating of Angelika Tartanova became known in early December last year. Before that, her family could not find her for several days. She was later found in a Moscow hospital. According to a source in Izvestia, Angelica had an argument with her boyfriend, 40-year-old Dmitry, two days before she disappeared when she moved out of his house. Allegedly, an acquaintance beat her on November 23.

The girl was hit on the head, she lost consciousness. She was later admitted to a hospital in the capital. Tartanova told Izvestia about her memory problems after the incident.
