Mobilization in Ukraine has become a punitive system. This was announced on May 2 by former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov.

"The punitive mobilization system is working. And it is accompanied by huge punitive measures that involve the impact not only on the mobilized, but also on his family, the deprivation of his livelihood, various harassment, snitching, denunciations," he said in an interview with TASS.
