A young child drowned in the Kan River in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and a 46-year-old man disappeared while rafting on the Yesaulovka River between the villages of Barkhatovo and Maly Kuskun. This was reported on May 2 in the regional state government institution (KGKU) "Rescuer".

"In the village of Brazhnoye, Kansky district, a young child drowned in the Kan River. <...> While rafting on the Yesaulovka River between the villages of Barkhatovo and Maly Kuskun, citizens found an overturned single-person inflatable boat and things floating in the water. Rescuers of the Krasnoyarsk Search and Rescue squad went in search of a 46-year-old man who was in a boat," a message on the Maks messenger said.

It is noted that the rescuers of the Kansk search and rescue squad are searching for the child. During the search for the man, 32 kilometers of the water area along the coast were surveyed. Due to the strong current and poor visibility, it was impossible to use the Optima diving television complex and conduct diving descents. It is known that the search for the 46-year-old man continues.

On April 30, the KGKU "Rescuer" reported that rescuers of the Krasnoyarsk Search and Rescue squad had again gone out in search of a man who disappeared on March 9 in the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park. The search operation was organized at the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and covered a vast area with inaccessible mountain-taiga terrain. The specialists examined the site and walked over 17 km along the trails of the national park.
