The Russian Foreign Ministry announced possible scenarios for the isolation of the Kaliningrad region by NATO

During the military exercises, NATO countries are working out possible scenarios for isolating the Kaliningrad region. This was stated on May 2 by the Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Artyom Bulatov.

"After the start of their [special military operation], NATO and the EU [European Union] noticeably intensified attempts to establish control over logistics routes in the Baltic region, took a number of steps to limit transport links with the Kaliningrad region and create conditions for isolating the region," the diplomat told RIA Novosti.

Bulatov noted that such scenarios are being worked out as part of NATO military exercises.
