The hydrometeorological center named the date of the beginning of the meteorological summer in the Moscow region

Meteorological summer is expected to arrive in the Moscow region from May 26. Marina Makarova, a leading employee of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, told about this on May 2.

"At the end of May, almost summer temperatures are expected, on May 26 it goes through 15 degrees to higher values — this is what some call a meteorological summer," she told TASS.

As the meteorologist noted, this is most important for people working in the agricultural sector. At the same time, the weather conditions will allow all other Russians to feel the onset of the summer season.
