Fraudsters began to deceive Russians and gain access to their "Public Services" under the pretext of making a "recalculation" of utility bills. This became known on May 2 based on an analysis of the actions of intruders.

Fraudsters, posing as employees of Mosenergosbyt, add residents of Moscow to instant messenger chats, in which residents are offered to recalculate. Further, the scammers report that payment data will allegedly be automatically transferred from the Gosuslug portal, RIA Novosti notes.

After that, residents are asked to allegedly go to the official Gosuslug bot, confirm the phone number there and send a "unique key". If the victim follows all instructions, the attackers will gain access to their personal account at Gosuslugi.

On May 1, the press service of the Moshelovka platform of the Popular Front said that fraudsters began using a new deception scheme, in which they intimidate Russians by charging fines for hogweed on the site. It is noted that the victim allegedly faces a fine of 50 thousand rubles for violation. Under the pretext of resolving the situation or paying at a discount, the scammers force the summer resident to go to a website disguised as the Gosuslugi portal.
