The State Duma proposed maintaining deadlines for pensioners to wait for specialized specialists in compulsory medical insurance, MRI and CT. This was announced on May 1 by MP Kaplan Panes (LDPR).

"I propose to set deadlines for pensioners to wait for a specialist in compulsory medical insurance — no more than 14 days, for MRI / CT — no more than 30 days, with penalties for violations," Panesh said in an interview with RIA Novosti journalists.

He took the initiative to expand the list of medicines provided free of charge and to increase the level of compensation for medicines from 50% to 75% for pensioners whose income does not exceed one and a half subsistence minimums.

In addition, Panes considers it important to introduce a patronage system for single pensioners over the age of 75. This measure involves assigning a social worker to each such person, who will help organize visits to doctors.

In a joint study of the non-governmental pension fund "Future" and the service "Fly.<url>" On May 1, it says that the Krasnodar Territory, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad Region, as well as Stavropol Territory and Tatarstan are the most popular places for Russian citizens aged 55 to 60 to relax during the May holidays. It is noted that the list of popular foreign locations for Russians aged 55 and over includes Turkey, Egypt, Vietnam, Abkhazia, China, Thailand, Maldives and Sri Lanka.
