Guard Sergeant Sergei Yefimov provided cover for the evacuation group, which was taking wounded soldiers from the line of contact after storming the positions. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Saturday, May 2.

It is noted that Yefimov acted as part of an assault group during the mission. The fighters, despite the intense artillery fire and the blows of the FPV drones, were able to take up covert positions without losses and prepare for further attack. After the beginning of the assault on the guards, the sergeant destroyed the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with fire from standard weapons.

As a result, the task was completed, and an important stronghold was under the control of the Russian Army. After that, Yefimov took up a firing position and provided cover for the evacuation group that was rescuing the wounded.

As a result, conditions were created for the development of the offensive of motorized rifle units and the complete liberation of the settlement in the special operation zone.

The Ministry of Defense also said that Senior Lieutenant Elmir Davletshin made a significant contribution to the liberation of the settlement in one of the tactical areas of the military operation. The fighter effectively distributed tasks between the units, provided them with fire support and organized interaction with the reserves. Analyzing the situation, he continuously collected and systematized intelligence data, correcting the actions of the units.
