In Tuapse, a fire broke out on the territory of the marine terminal as a result of an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on May 1 by the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory.
"In Tuapse, as a result of an attack by a Kiev regime UAV, a fire broke out on the territory of the sea terminal," the Telegram channel says.
According to the agency, no one was injured in the incident. Emergency and special services are working at the scene. 128 people and 41 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
The operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported on April 28 that a fire started at an oil refinery in Tuapse due to falling debris from drones (UAVs). On April 30, Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratiev noted that a fire had been extinguished at the Tuapse refinery.
Russian President Vladimir Putin drew attention to the fact that attacks on energy facilities in Tuapse could have serious environmental consequences. He also stressed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are increasingly launching drone strikes against civilian infrastructure.
